News: Helping Hands Chore Serice has received a $750 Year-End/Critical Needs Grant from The Marion Williams and Alice Edward Fund and the Draper Foundation Fund. Click here for press release.

Helping Hands is a nonprofit, community-based, homemaker and companion care service affiliated with the Winsted Health Center Foundation. We cover Barkhamsted, Colebrook, New Hartford, Norfolk and Winsted/Winchester, CT.

Our team is here to enhance the daily lives of our clients by providing the support needed and the respect deserved to stay safe and independent in their own homes.   

Since 2006, Helping Hands has been a recognized leader in offering high-quality, non-medical, home care services to senior and disabled residents. There is no age restriction to receive our services and clients, 60 or over, may be eligible for financial assistance.
